2nd Sunday in the month that’s our Fun and Club Schedule:
Sunday gone was lovely sunny day compared to the lashings of Saturday.
Things got off to a great start with the Beri Wilson-Taylor 1st and second in the 55cms.
On form Caitlin Bayles took the 70cm club pony class with Hayley Dobson and Prince in second place, making a come back after Hayley’s first year at Uni. Caitlin also won the 80 cm which is a Grandslam Sunday class, therefore scoring points for our Grandslam Sunday league. I hope you join as a British Showjumping Club member Caitlin as you will accrue
great points for the British Showjumping Northern Club League also.
Freya Stoodley also made a cracking come back to Lane Farm winning both the 90cm and 1m in great style.
Horses at 1.30pm saw Lane Farm’s, Charlie Toon take the 70cm with a great time.
Holly Critchlow Willis, a not long second mum just pipped Eden Wilson-Taylor on Coosane
Ruby to take the 80cm but Eden had her turn in the 90cm winning in great style, a very special win for Eden.
The metre horse was won by Kirsty Cordner on Chance who made it look easy.
The last two classes were hotly fought after. The 1m.05 being a Grandslam Sunday class
was won by Lane Farm’s Natalie Anderson and Double Black Diamond not only gaining Grandslam points but also winning a £30.00 first prize in the process. Harry Mutch just rolled a pole but was a very respectable 2nd place. The situation was reversed in the 1.10m
class when Harry Mutch pulled it out of the bag beating Natalie to take the 1.10m prize.
What an exciting end to a brill days jumping once again at Lane Farm.
Thank you everyone for supporting us at our Fun and Club Show and thankyou British Showjumping officials and all helpers.
We look forward to our next Fun and Club Show which will be Sunday, 13th July 2014.
PLEASE NOTE: Sunday, 22nd June 2014 we have a Show in aid of the Teenage Cancer Trust,
RVI, Newcastle. All proceeds will go to the RVI, it would be great if you could attend.
Check out the schedule, we have trophies to every class, we have showjumping, games,
a display by Casper and a raffle and cake stall.
Bye for now … LFE
