We started with the 55cms which was was won by Ellie Hair and Shooting Star Missy (definately a one for a Wednesday night) ponies and Katie Robinson on Dancer for horses. Sister act Libby and Becky Gallon won the pairs with Toby and Marble. We then ran our 8 Club classes of the day 70cm - 1m ponies in the morning and horses in the afternoon, in consecutive order these are our winners: Beth Heppell and Star, Anna Robinson and Bella Boo, Emma Burns with Mr Dapples. Lucy Van Hee with Sahara Desert (winning a the metre pony class on her Birthday too). Horses: Sarah Rowell with Ginger, Michaela Broughton with Razzle Dazzle, Holly Critchlow with Elise de Champeix, Adrian Brannelly and Thomasson Barney. Congratulations to all and a special well done to little Beth Miles who 'sticks like glue' riding the 90cm for the first time, losing a stirrup and completing the course (our hearts were in our mouths!!).
The 'big' excitement of the day however was the thrilling Down and Out. Contested by Leigh Ann Lewis with Hey Wilhemina and Adrian Brannelly with Thomasson Barney what an epic performance! Finishing off at a height of 1m 60 everyone was enthralled by it, what talented and brave riders!! I'm going to end with the word 'brilliant' - again.
